If a participant lets go of the performer's hand before the end of the song, the performer has to sing the rest of the song out loud.

1. Place: Wherever the performer decides to carry out this performance. Possible examples include: a street, a shopping mall, a bar, a pub, but also the foyer of a theatre or inside a gallery.

2. Duration: between 1 and 12 hours

3. Action: The performer is holding a cardboard sign that says "Would you like to hold my hand?", thus inviting strangers to hold hands with the performer – if they like. The action of holding hands will take exactly 2:25 minutes (the length of the song "I want to hold your hand" by The Beatles). The performer measures the time by silently going through the song.
